plyo and prep

Got back to the gym today and wanted to switch it up a bit. I did an awesome yoga class (first one ever) and I’m hooked. Gonna get into that when the time permits.

 

the workout

  • 15 minute low moderate stair master – held 10 b plate over head for a total of 5 minutes, and did leg extensions for 5 minutes cumulative
  • jumps from raised step into a deep squat 5×10
  • bosu ball oblique ab crunches 3×10
  • single leg split squat jumps over step 3×10
  • 3×10 regular crunches
  • 3×10 20 lb dumbbell step ups
  • 3×15 lateral leg lifts with band
  • 3×15 kick backs with band
  • 3×15 hydrants with band

 

prep

I did some serious meal prepping today and only spent 46 dollars at the grocery store

  • chicken finger cutlets to grill with a homemade steak seasoning
  • Brussel sprouts and cauliflower grilled with steak seasoning
  • small package of premade zoodles
  • 3 avocados
  • pack of cherry tomatos
  • cucumber
  • blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • 5 slices of watermelon
  • 1 green giant back of steamed vegetables

meals

  • chicken and veggies
  • tomato, cucumber, avocado
  • fruit baggies for lunch
  • zoodles and chicken

 

productivity and health ends there. Had a beer while prepping, ate some left over penne ala vodka before heading to the cousins house for tacos and margs, and now procrastinating the 10 page paper due Tuesday. Cheers.
